Le Penalou is a charming 18th century fully restored farmhouse situated on the Corrèze /Dordogne border. Still maintaining its original French features, Le Penalou comprises two double bedrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs) both with en suite one of which is a wet room. Upstairs, a light and airy third family room sleeps three but could easily accommodate a fourth person quite comfortably on the inflatable single bed.

Downstairs is a large kitchen/diner with all the modern conveniences you would expect including cooker, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron, ironing board and a full complement of crockery. It’s like home-from-home! Next to the kitchen/diner is the lounge where you can watch satellite television or a range of DVDs or even play on the play station!

Outside is a barbeque and a large dining table which can seat ten people. Covered by a large pergola offering welcome shading from the sun, dining al fresco is a pleasure whilst overlooking the 11 metre solar heated swimming pool and the unspoilt countryside.

The house is secluded with no other buildings interrupting the scenic views. The nearest village (Montgibaud) is less than two miles away and is home to a Michelin guide recommended restaurant (Le Tilleul de Sully) which is well worth a visit!

To summarise, Le Penalou is suitable for a group of adults or a family or two with children of all ages. The main features of the house and grounds comprise:- Slide
